Explore the Royal Beauty of Rajasthan

Located in NW India, Rajasthan is the largest state of India. Popularly known as the Land of the Royalty, the state was ruled by the Rajputs for a very long time and is the site of the world's first civilization, the Indus Valley Civilization. The state houses a vivid display of art and architecture and boasts of a Royal inheritance. It is a beautiful state, and you should explore the land of the Maharajas at least once in your life to understand how beautiful a place could be. In this article, we will focus on the main tourist places of the state that upholds the beauty of the place.
Udaipur
Udaipur is the city of lakes and popularly known as the Venice of the East. It is that city wherein you will get to explore the Rajputana style of architecture. You can begin your tour here with the City Palace, relax by the famous Lake Pichola and hop on a boat to enjoy the view of the Jag Mandir Palace. There is also a cable car ride to the Karni Mata temple, which the children would enjoy. There is a well circulated belief that if you spend just three days in Udaipur, you will develop a love affair  with this magical place called Udaipur.    
Jaipur
Jaipur is the state capital of Rajasthan and well connected to all the major cities in the state. Also known as the Pink City, as the whole town has been painted in this color to make it look unique, it has notable attractions like Amber Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, and Jal Mahal. The five-story palace known as the Jal Mahal is truly breathtaking as the beautiful Aravalli Mountain range surrounds it.
Jaisalmer
Lying in the heart of Rajasthan, Jaisalmer is known as the Golden City for the view it offers during the day. The place grew up as a walled city, making it one of the most massive forts in the world. The Desert National Park and the Jaisalmer Fort are the chief attractions of this city.
Jodhpur
Jodhpur is popularly known as the Sun City as the sun shines brightly over the city throughout the year.  Jodhpur has strategic importance as it is only 250 km away from the India-Pakistan border. The Meherangarh Fort is the chief attraction here and draws in great crowds during weekends and holidays.
Mount Abu
Mount Abu has great significance in the state as it is the only hill station here. The sun-scorched people of the state regard Mount Abu as a heavenly retreat. The Dilwara Jain Temple and wildlife sanctuary is not only a must-visit place in Mount Abu but in the state also. 
Chittorgarh
The Maurya Dynasty founded Chittorgarh or Chittor. The major attraction of Chittorgarh is Chittorgarh Fort, which also happens to be the largest fort in India. Founded in the 7th century, the fort complex has several gardens, palaces, and temples, and all these enjoy a great historical significance.
